ABSOLUTE HARMONY PROFILE

Hello! Welcome to Absolute Harmony`s official web-site. We are Royal Holloway`s very own non-auditioned a capella choir and society of the year 2007/08 - we sing, quite literally, absolutely anything!

From Bach to Bon Jovi, Abba to Coldplay, Absolute Harmony, with help and guidance from our two talented musical directors, sing without any instrumental accompaniment: we use our voices to make the music. Every year we perform in the Christmas Concert with Rev Rock Gospel Choir (in Royal Holloway's stunning chapel) at which, last year we raised over a thousand pounds for charity! We also have an annual Easter show, which has sold out for the last two years running!

We perform charity concerts in the local area which has seen us singing in local nursing homes, in charity performances for Marie Curie Cancer Care and at a Japanese Red Cross charity garden party.

As well as singing we are a highly sociable society, this year has seen us put on a union night, Absolute Filth - which was the most popular societies union night this year! We attended the RHOscars and saw many of our members walk away with awards and were awarded the universities Society of the Year award at the Societies Ball!

As in past years, we also take our music outside the UK on tour, 2008 saw us touring in Italy for a holiday of sea, sun, sangria and singing!
